Activity Streams is an open format specification for activity stream protocols, which are used to syndicate activities taken in social web applications and services, similar to those in Facebook[1]'s Newsfeed, FriendFeed, the Movable Type Action Streams plugin, etc.
Implementors of the activity Activity Streams draft include Facebook[2] and MySpace[3] as producers and Windows Live[4] as a consumer.
